Embracing the motto of “Work hard – Play hard – Well-rounded development from hard knowledge to soft skills”, HCMIU is home to more than 20 student organizations that help members hone teamwork and leadership skills, foster a diverse community, provide cultural support and give students the opportunity to pursue something they’re passionate about.

IEM Youth Union
Established in 2009, IEM Youth Union operates by the core values: Activeness – Responsibility – Cooperation – Adaptability – Creativity.
IEM Youth Union officers are passionate students who desire to help IEM students relax and have fun after stressful hours of learning and working, bond, and network with peers and lecturers in the most beautiful years of their lives. Exemplary activities by IEM Youth Union include IEM Camping, Spring Volunteer, Students with Five Good Merits, etc.

IEM Academic Club (IAC)
IEM Academic Club was established on 6/9/2015 with the mission “To build a trust-worthy academic platform for students” to learn, research, exchange knowledge and information, share experience, broaden the network, and enhance skills to meet the increasingly tough requirements of real-world business. IAC regularly hosts study groups and tutoring sessions, shares news specialized in operation research and logistics and organizes contests and seminars starring expertises in the field.

IEM Art Club is the home of music passionists in IU. Established in 2016, IEM Art Club resembles a true entertainment corporation with 5 departments PERFORMANCE – PROGRAM – MEDIA – OPERATION – HUMAN RESOURCES. To send the message “Sing to Share”, IEM Art Club often produces shimmering splendid music videos, organizes spectacular music shows, and gets invited to perform at many events at school.
